If you’ve ever gone to a gym, or sought to learn how to swim, sing or even write, you would have been guided towards accessing your core or finding your muse.
For most people, entire lives are spent living on the periphery. Their hearts beat with love, yet they settle for a shadow of what love could be. Their beings pulse with dreams and desires, yet daily life forces them to settle for the bargain, rarely believing in the possibility of their actualisation.
Core is a gentle yet radical shift in the way of being. When herbs move through the system, they can begin to inspire a different posture, a different way of walking, a different way of holding the self. These are the very shifts spoken of in self-help books, yet they are rarely realised through thought alone. They come alive when they arise from the place in the body called the Core.
In this circle, we explore the meridians through which energy flows through the body, and how to access the Core through this flow. Through instruction, engagement, tea ceremony and embodiment practices, the exploration moves beyond knowing about the body to experiencing what becomes possible when you begin to inhabit it differently.
Who knew remembering what walking actually looks like could make this simple, everyday activity so meaningful?
