Exploring the hidden relationship between the metals of the Earth and the energy that moves through the human body.
Metals have long been understood as a circulating force within the body of the Earth. Much like blood within a living organism, they move through the planet carrying vitality, structure, and energetic charge. These elements are not unique to our planet — they are also found traveling through space, appearing in meteorites such as Campo del Cielo, reminding us that metals are part of a much larger story of matter moving through the cosmos.
In many traditions, metals are seen as powerful carriers of energy. One way it was once explained to me is this: metals function like the Earth’s bloodstream, while crystals act more like its hormonal messengers. Over time, observing how metals and crystals interact — and how their presence influences the human energy field — begins to reveal interesting patterns.
Plants grow in constant relationship with the minerals and metals in the soil. As they grow, they absorb and organize these elements within their living structure. When we work with plants as medicine, we are not only receiving their nutrients and phytochemistry — we are also receiving the mineral qualities they have gathered from the Earth.
In this way, plants act as a bridge between the mineral world and the human body.
This session explores that relationship — how different metals influence energy, how plants carry these qualities, and how understanding this connection can deepen our experience of plant medicine.
